OKC Thunder Valentines

The NBA Draft takes place during the summer, which is typically a transitional time for the graphics team. We haven’t yet developed a new look for the upcoming season, but we’ve moved on from the previous year’s designs. This makes Draft Night a time for design exploration, where our team can experiment with new ideas. In 2022, I spearheaded the Draft Night graphics for our social media team. I took this opportunity to re-work our previous gradient style to be more fluid and modern. I also incorporated blurs and other effects throughout the designs. Because of the drastic changes in visuals I brought in, I made sure to use our brand-specific fonts so the designs still feel like the Oklahoma City Thunder.
